Know what happens to your files.

Data you provide

TabularGate processes the file or pasted text you submit, your selected settings, and the results of those checks. Registered accounts also provide an email address and a password. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, not as readable passwords.

File processing

Your input is sent to the TabularGate server for parsing and checking. It is not a browser-only tool. Files are associated with an authenticated account or a guest session. Access to job results requires that same account or session. Do not upload material you are not authorized to process.

File contents are not sent to an AI provider for the core CSV checks. TabularGate does not need a language-model API to parse your CSV or apply the selected rules.

Retention and deletion

Guest and Free job files have a 24-hour retention period. Pro job files have a 7-day retention period. Scheduled cleanup deletes expired working files. You can request immediate deletion of a job's stored input and output files using the Delete action in your workspace.

Usage counts, security records, and subscription records may be retained separately from file contents to operate account limits, investigate abuse, and administer billing. Deleting a job does not reset its usage charge. Account backups retain account and billing metadata, saved settings, and usage records. Backup rotation is set to seven days. Uploaded files, generated outputs, file names, result previews, sessions, and one-time email tokens are excluded from these backups.

Guest network limits

The daily guest allowance is shared by browsers on the same network. To apply limits and reduce abuse, the application temporarily stores a keyed, one-way HMAC token derived from the network address, plus a counter and expiry. The application database does not store the raw IP address for this purpose. Hosting and reverse-proxy services may separately receive or log network addresses under their own operational settings.

Accounts and sessions

Session cookies are used to keep you signed in or associate guest jobs with your browser. Clearing those cookies can make guest jobs inaccessible. Use a password you do not reuse elsewhere, and sign out on shared devices.

Email verification and recovery

Registration begins with your email address. When mail delivery is available, the service uses that address to send a private verification link. You then confirm ownership and choose a password before signing in. Password recovery is available for verified accounts through a separate one-time link. A request being accepted does not confirm that an email was delivered. Keep these links private.

Billing

When paid checkout is enabled, Paddle handles checkout and payment information. TabularGate receives the subscription and transaction status needed to manage your access. Card numbers are handled by the payment provider, not stored in the application database. The payment provider's own terms and privacy policy apply to its processing.

Logs and security

Operational logs are intended for service status and error diagnosis. Upload contents, passwords, and payment secrets must not be placed in ordinary application logs. Resource limits and isolated processing reduce risk, but no online service can promise that every file or every failure mode is harmless.

Privacy requests

Contact support using the details below to request account deletion or ask about account data. We may need to confirm account ownership before acting on a request. Job file deletion is available directly in the workspace. Before submitting sensitive, regulated, or confidential material, assess whether the published processing and retention controls meet your requirements.
